Library Princesses

Reading to an audience of children? Bringing them poems? Well, it’s what we set out to do at Hillegom Romantique.

Along with Selena’s Costumes, who was dressed up as Merida, we were part of the entertainment for the day and sure to be said many children came up to us to talk to us. Some even attended the festivity just to see one of us, which is quite an honour. Although we didn’t get to read much of our stories, which were borrowed from the library and all of a romantic nature, we had lots to talk about and were shown baby brothers and sisters and were part of the celebration of a girl’s birthday. isn’t that nice?

Merida got to show off her bow and arrow skills to the enjoyment of all the children (who also got to give it a go). It was a very nice and joyful day.
